Find My Past honour Elizabeth Heyrick

We are pleased to announce an event celebrating Elizabeth Heyrick, who will be honoured with a specially commissioned miniature sculpture.

Organised by Find My Past, the sculpture will be formally presented to the city of Leicester and will find a permanent home in the local museum. This event fits in with our broader initiative to bring Elizabeth Heyrick’s contributions to the forefront of public memory and inspire future generations.

Elizabeth Heyrick was selected for this tribute through a public vote after being highlighted as one of five remarkable women whose stories have been historically overlooked.

We invite the community to join us at Museum Square Park to celebrate this significant moment in honouring Leicester's rich history and the women who shaped it.
